How to Remove Mascara

It’s best to remove eye makeup gently at night, especially if you’re wearing mascara. Excessive tugging or pulling can cause lash damage and crow’s feet wrinkles. Use an oil-based eye makeup remover if you’re wearing waterproof mascara; if not, use micellar water or a water-based remover for simple removal. With your eyes closed, use a gentle downward motion to wipe off the mascara, continuing the process until all of it is gone. After completing your standard washing regimen, apply moisturizer and eye cream.
